Gaza Ceasefire Passes UNSC

Middle Nation · 25 Mar 2024 · 6:05 · YouTube

Okay. So the United Nations Security Council just passed a, Ramadan ceasefire resolution, on the, Gaza genocide, and it only passed because The US didn't veto it this time. They abstained from voting, and they only abstained from voting because their discordance with the rest of the planet, and even with their own citizens has become too politically and too economically damaging to them. They didn't abstain, for moral reasons. They abstained because continuing to support Netanyahu, is becoming too costly for them and because the entire global South, the entire Muslim world, the leadership of BRICS, the Arab rulers, the Muslim rulers, and they basically the entire population of the earth, have stood united for the last almost six months against America committing a genocide in Gaza against the Palestinian people through their Israeli brigade.

There's no reason that this had to take six months. It took six months and over 30,000 innocent people murdered, almost a 100,000 wounded, and millions of people displaced just to get The United States to allow the global consensus to even partially prevail. And again they didn't abstain because they care about any of this, but because everyone else cares about this, including the voters in The United States. And because what's been going on, you can look at it this way, what's been going on has been basically a 12 round fight between Boxers. Each of the Boxers hopes to end the fight in the first or second round, but when that doesn't happen, well they keep trading blows until the last bell, chipping away at each other round by round, punch by punch.

America is Israel's corner team, and they're trying now to tell their fighter, to plead with their fighter to let them throw in the towel, not only because he clearly can't win, but because they've gotten word that powerful people, have laid a bet on this fight and they've made and they made that bet against their fighter and that's the OCGFC. The owners and controllers of global financialized capital have made a bet against Israel and a bet in favor of stability, peace, and prosperity in the region. Every protester, every demonstrator, everyone who has been boycotting Zionist linked companies for the last six months, every individual person who's been posting pro Palestine content on social media, Everyone has convinced the OCGFC that this is the only way forward if they want to successfully transition the global economy, to the so called developing world, to the global South, to the East, to the South. Zionism is bad for business. I've said it now countless times and this has been proven, countless times by countless individuals pouring into the streets, and abstaining from patronizing Zionist businesses.

The US abstained because you abstained, because of your abstention from giving Zionists your money. That convinced the OCGFC that there is no profitable future in Zionism. Now what will happen next? Well Netanyahu now, he has an opportunity. He has a chance to get out of this this trap with some semblance of a political career still breathing.

He can say that international pressure is too much. He can say that alienating America is too damaging and he has no choice but to call off the genocide. He can say all of that. He can he can say that he would continue if he could, it's out of his hands. And he can he can say all of this to try to save face with his his hardline constituency or, and this is more likely, he will continue to defy The US.

He'll ignore the resolution and America will either engineer or negotiate his departure from government. Which in my opinion is something that they've wanted to do for months now. And they've wanted to do it for months now ever since they hit a stone wall of Arab rejection of their plans. You know Blinken only goes to the Middle East to get slapped around these days. This wall of rejection in the Arab world has been fortified and by and strengthened by BRICS, by China, and by Russia, and as I said by the OCGFC.

So one way or another Netanyahu is gonna have to go. At this point all he can do in my opinion is try to bargain for immunity from prosecution and I think that's probably the only thing on his mind right now. The ceasefire, if it's actually, if it's actually implemented, will lead probably to a sustained ceasefire, or anyway, that's the intention behind it. That's what they're trying to accomplish. You know, get them to stop killing for at least two weeks, and then it'll be more likely that you can arrange for an extension of the ceasefire.

Now the resolution does call for the release of all hostages that are held by Hamas, so this is gonna be a key factor whether they comply or not. I would assume that they would stagger out the release of those hostages over the next two weeks and not do it all at once, and possibly they would withhold complete release and sue for a ceasefire extension at the end of it. And of course there's a demand for the delivery of aid into Gaza which will be a factor as well, whether the Israelis will allow it or not. But the main question of course is Israel's compliance, which means Netanyahu's compliance. And in my opinion he won't comply unless he gets some kind of guarantees from America about his own personal fate because he is a complete psychopath.

I still believe that ultimately this issue is gonna be moved out of the United Nations and resolved through multilateral negotiations between Israel and BRICS, you know, The Gulf States, Egypt, Qatar, China, and so on, in some sort of an international peace conference. You know, China just met with Ismail Hainia the other day, which in my opinion was a significant move. China publicly involving itself, meeting with Hamas signals the trajectory of what I have been predicting since October. But for now, we can say that today was a victory. It's a strong blow that was struck against the Zionists and against the genocide.

And I think that we are a significant step closer to ending the carnage in Gaza.
