Announcement: Channel changes
This will be my last video for the Qawamoon channel. But let me explain. I'm not gonna stop making videos, but I'm going to shift away from the narrow focus on issues of masculinity, red pill refutation, gender relations, and so on, and move on to a broader range of topics. If I'm being honest, the focus of the Chawamun channel has never been an area that greatly interested me. I only created the channel to respond to the spread of bad, immature red pill influenced ideas that I felt were damaging to Muslim men and to our relationships with Muslim women.
Since starting the channel, however, many more Muslims have come out against such ideas, and peddlers of Red Bill content have pretty unambiguously exposed themselves as hustlers, crude, indecent, intellectually dishonest, and Islamically uneducated. Their viewership and subscription rates have declined and I don't think many brothers are falling for their polluted propaganda anymore. And I also think that I have adequately refuted their ideas, and I don't have much more to add to the over 200 videos that I've already uploaded. Therefore, I will be changing the name of the channel and changing the scope of the content, discussing issues that are more important, more useful, and for me, interesting. The channel will now be called the middle nation, and it will include longer form podcasts and videos.
All of the Qawamun content will still be here, partitioned into a playlist, and I will sporadically, as needs be, upload to that playlist new content relating to those same topics of marriage, gender relations, and so on because it still pertains to general social commentary. Now I'm aware that from a social media marketing point of view, I'm making a mistake. Everyone says it's important to have a niche, a specific narrow area of focus for your channel. But as you all know, I haven't monetized my channel and I don't intend to. If the channel grows, it grows.
If it doesn't, it doesn't. This is not a career for me. Now I hope that no one is disappointed in the change in the content since I know most of you follow my channel or originally followed my channel because you're interested in the topics that I have been covering up until now. But I do hope that you will also find the new content useful and interesting. As an ummah, I think that there are a lot more issues that we have to hash out besides Red Pill, and I look forward to doing that in the coming weeks and months.
We'll be talking about liberalism, modernism, Islamism, economics, politics, current affairs from what I hope is a unique but also a balanced Islamic perspective. Now I'll also be changing the name of the telegram group that some of you have participated in, and I invite you to join in the discussions there. For the last several months, there have been great discussions, and there are some really high quality minds participating in that telegram group. And we've discussed a wide range of topics that have nothing to do with the focus of the Qawamun channel. I wanna thank you all supporting the channel since it began.
I really feel like I have one of the best comment sections on YouTube, occasional trolls notwithstanding. So and I hope you can stick with me moving forward.
