Economic Proxy War Against EU

Okay. So it's been a little while since I talked about the Ukraine situation. First, let me reiterate that there's two things happening with regards to Ukraine. First, there was the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the war on the ground for control over that country. That's not particularly significant to anybody.

Who is in charge of Ukraine, whether it's Russian or Ukrainian oligarchs, isn't really relevant to anyone on the planet Earth. Now the second thing happening with regards to this situation is The US proxy war against Europe, which is the proper way of understanding the coordinated Western response to the Russian invasion, I e, the economic sanctions against Russia and the private sector isolation of Russia from the global economy. The sanctions and the isolation of Russia from the global economy is an American led economic proxy war against Europe, not against Russia. One of two things will inevitably happen as a result of this proxy war. One is that Germany will turn into a massive sinkhole that will swallow the rest of Europe into the depths of economic misery and political chaos.

The other possibility is that, Germany will break ranks with the EU possibly even exiting the union and Europe will descend into the depths of economic misery and political chaos. Two roads to one destiny. Now why would western nations go along with this self sabotage? Well, the answer is because nations don't make decisions. People in power make decisions, and those people and those entities of power are profiting and benefiting from the decisions being made.

And they are not guided by nationalistic or patriotic sentiments. They are guided by personal interest and class related interest. Now a great deal of what's being called inflation is actually nothing more than good old fashioned opportunistic price gouging and market speculation. The biggest all of the biggest asset management firms in the world are still reaching record profits, And economies around the world are being pummeled with crisis after crisis after crisis, turning them into wounded prey for corporate and financial predators, including the economies of Europe. That's the summary of what's happening.

It's gonna take some time for the Muslim countries and the countries of the global south generally to recalibrate their understanding of how the world is working. The dynamics of global power, the dynamics of global economics. It's a new situation. Deglobalization is happening at record pace under the pretext, first, of the COVID crisis and second, under the pretext of the Ukraine crisis. Both of these things, while real in their own right, did not merit the responses to them that were coordinated by Western governments and the private sector.

These, actions by the private sector and by Western governments were designed specifically and exclusively not for public health, not for democracy in Ukraine, but to accelerate the process of deglobalization, the dismantling of the post World War two global order with the, an acceleration of the transfer of power into the private sector. When you move it into the private sector, you're talking about multinational corporations, are more properly understood as a national corporations because they don't have any loyalty to any particular country. And when you have power in the hands of people who have no national interests, then every nation is eligible for subjugation, including Western nations. So we have to, in the Muslim world and in the global South generally, we have to try to protect ourselves and create our own institutions of private power and also fortify our own governments if we can to protect our economies and our people against the inevitable incursions by these multinational, a national corporations and financial interests. And we have a great opportunity now, but it's also a very critical time in the global South and in the Muslim world and in Asia and in Africa, making decisions now as if the global economy was still functioning the way it functioned twenty, thirty years ago will mean that we will deprive ourselves of those opportunities and deprive ourselves of benefiting from our natural demographic advantages and the advantages of our economic potential.
