Germany Anticipating Civil Unrest

Just another quick update on Germany. Germany's interior minister, Nancy Faiser, just warned that they should expect radical and extremist right wing protests over rising energy prices. She compared this to protests in Germany during the COVID lockdowns and all of the restrictions and so forth when, as she said, people shouted against democracy alongside right wing extremists. This is two things. One is that they are genuinely expecting protests and civil unrest in Germany as a result of rising energy prices, which they are doing nothing about.

And number two, it is a warning to the population that if you protest in any way, if you object in any way, if you oppose our policies in any way whatsoever, we will brand you as antidemocratic, fascist, right wing neo Nazis, and you should expect the full force of the law. This is called Germany falling apart.
