Singapore opened a can of worms
They were able now to have the, criminalization of gay sex repealed in Singapore, which is a conservative country, which used to be part of Malaysia, a Muslim country. The repeal was not a democratic decision. They've now opened a can of worms. Prior to the repeal decision, the gay community in Singapore said, we won't ask for gay marriage if you just give us this. Immediately, they started talking about wanting gay marriage.
Immediately, they started because, of course, they did. Because for one thing, you're dealing with a group of people in whom there is a prevalence of emotional personality disorders. Muslims in Singapore need to be concerned about this because very soon, you won't be able to state the Islamic position on homosexuality anymore because it will be a hate crime. Christians should be concerned about it too. Once you decriminalize homosexuality, you normalize homosexuality, there's a flood, there's an avalanche of other demands, correlated demands to the normalization of homosexuality.
One of them, of course, is gay marriage, gay adoption, teaching homosexuality in the schools, on and on and on because this is exactly the pattern that we've seen in the West.
