Invoke Article 6 to Expel the Sponsor of Genocide
Instead of calling for, you know, an end to the genocide or or a ceasefire now and so on, we're calling for something we're we're we're calling for addressing the reason why those calls go unheard. We're trying to address the reason why no one listens. Why nothing happens when we say cease fire now. When we why nothing happens when we say end to the genocide. And the reason is that The United States is in a position to veto any action to end the genocide.
The United States is in a position to veto any calls for a ceasefire. And that has to end. That has to change. And the and the mechanisms for changing that are there in the charter. And I I I totally agree with you.
Obviously, The United States has shown time and time again that they have no respect for international law. They don't respect their own laws. And, obviously, they're showing multiple times that they don't respect even the laws of the United Nations that they signed on to and that they wrote. We know very well that their whole history is a history of broken promises. It's a history of agreements that they've broken, agreements that they've made so that they could get some kind of so that they could get some benefit.
Then once they get the benefit, they throw the agreement behind their back. We know that very well. We know it's a lawless country. We know it's a lawless government. And that's exactly why they have no place on the Security Council of the United Nations.
That's exactly why they have no place even in an organization that's called the United Nations because they don't respect any other nations in the world. They they want they they they want the United Nations to just be a conference room in which they dictate orders to the rest of the planet, to the rest of the countries in the world. And it's time for a country that behaves the way The United States behaves. It's time for it to be treated as a pariah state. It's time for it to be treated as a rogue state.
It's time for the rest of the world to say, no. We take international law seriously. We take our charters and our agreements and our treaties and our international obligations. We take that seriously. And you're a country that doesn't take it seriously, you don't belong here.
And you should be treated the same way that you have said that other countries in the world should be treated, like the way when you said that Iraq is a rogue is a rogue state, or you said that Afghanistan is a rogue state, or you said that Somalia is a rogue state, and so on and so on and so on. Well, there's nobody more rogue than you. So we'll just apply the same thing that you've tried to apply to everyone else, and we'll apply it to you because that's where it belongs. That's who it belongs with. There's nobody who's more rogue than The United States.
You don't have any place. You don't have any right to sit in the United Nations and pretend that you're a team player with the rest of the world when there when we've never seen any evidence of that and we've only seen evidence of the contrary. So we're calling for, as I said, a practical, concrete step. And as far as I'm concerned, anyone who is attending a a pro Palestine rally, a pro Palestinian rally, anyone who's attending anything like that, anyone who is a a pro Palestinian activist, anyone who has a placard or who has a sign or makes a a shout or a slogan or a chant at a protest saying cease fire now and genocide now, what you need to be calling for is invocation of article six. That's a practical step because that's a because otherwise, you're just you're just throwing your words against the wall.
When you say ceasefire now, you're you're all you're doing is saying, we're we're we want to create another opportunity for The United States to veto a ceasefire. When you're saying end the genocide, all you're doing is saying we wanna give another opportunity to The United States to veto any action and any attempt to end the genocide. That's all you're doing. Unless you do something about getting them out of the United Nations and getting them out of the position in which they can actually veto the ceasefire and and veto any actions to to hold Israel to account for what it's doing.
