Oh yes, I get invited all the time. People have asked me to come and speak here, speak there, this masjid, that university, so on. Come on this this or that podcast. People have to arrange a speaking tour for me in The UK or The US or Europe, across Europe. But I have to ask all of them the same question.

Can you guarantee that I won't get arrested? See, I appreciate. I deeply appreciate these invitations, but I have to tell you, if you think that I can say what I say and not be detained in those countries, western countries, then you've completely failed to understand the society that you live in. You haven't even heard what I've been telling you, you know. I've already been denied entry into countries that are American allies or American clients more than once.

And I get stopped and interrogated almost every time I travel. You can get arrested in America without a warrant just for writing an article that's in agreement with international law, with the United Nations, with Amnesty International, with Doctors Without Borders, with Human Rights Watch, with the ICJ, with the ICC, with the entire global consensus and you'll get arrested. They'll arrest you for that and they'll call you a terrorist. Do you think that they're gonna let me do a speaking tour of those countries? Well, would arrest me for speaking and arrest you for coming to listen.

Now, I'm sorry. I can only consider doing speaking engagements in the free world, not in the West, you know. If I gave a talk in North Korea, I think I'd feel safer or China or Russia or any other country that the Americans tell you is totalitarian. I would have more confidence that my human rights and my civil rights and my freedom would be protected in any of those countries more than it would be in The United States Of America or in England or France or Scandinavia or what have you. Please understand.

I can consider speaking in the free world, but speaking freely in the West will get you thrown in jail. Understand the reality of the country that you live in. It's a lawless country where literally anyone who's advocating for law and for justice is treated like a criminal.
