Malaysian elections and America's diminishing returns
I wanted to talk today about, the upcoming elections in Malaysia, state elections in Malaysia, and what they what those elections reveal about the decline in America or the decline of America. One of the things that a cult has to do or any extremist minded control group, one of the things that they must do, is to isolate their members, isolate their followers from outside information, from opposing viewpoints. They need to seal their members in so that only their dogma can be consumed. Their version of reality, their version of the world can be the only accepted version of reality and the only accessible version of reality. Now they have to do this because this is the only way that a cult or an extremist group can really survive.
It's the only way that their extremist views can be sustained or believed for any length of time. So this is kind of like their only option for survival. But ironically, this inevitably leads to their destruction because it turns out that disconnection from reality is a bad survival strategy. It's like disconnection from oxygen because the cult ultimately over time cannot make proper decisions. If the leadership if it reaches a point where the leadership was raised and matured in a state of isolation, then they can't make proper decisions.
I mean, it's fine in the beginning because the the original leaders, the initial leaders, they understand that they're indoctrinating people, and they know the difference between their dogma and reality. A propagandist must be firmly rooted in reality. You have to if you're gonna make propaganda, if you're going to try to manipulate people's perceptions of reality, then you have to understand what reality really is. But when you start having decision makers, when you have when you start having people in leadership positions and policy making positions who are themselves heavily propagandized and indoctrinated and disconnected from reality, then they can't function properly. Now I'm saying all of this because I think it very much applies to The United States.
For quite some time now, The United States has quite aggressively isolated their people from world opinion. They have isolated them from having any reasonable or objective perception of reality. One of the earliest indicators of this in my lifetime was the two thousand three invasion of Iraq when you had American soldiers who genuinely believed that the Iraqi people were going to hail them as liberators, and they were shocked to discover that, no, actually, the Arapate people saw them as invaders. So now in 2023, you've reached a point where there are at least two generations of people who who were raised on indoctrination, who were raised on propaganda their whole lives, and now they hold decision making positions. Now, for example, they even work in intelligence agencies.
A large percentage of analysts, for example, for the CIA are 40 years, of age. So they grew up on CNN. They grew up on very jingoistic news and an ideologically distorted version of reality, which is gonna mean that they can't actually do their jobs properly. They're going to be making decisions, based on an inaccurate understanding of the world, and this is obviously incredibly ineffective and often disastrous. Now everyone knows that Anwar Ibrahim, the current prime minister of Malaysia, and his party have been backed for years by the National Endowment for Democracy, which is more or less known to be sort of the soft regime change wing of the CIA.
But in my opinion, any seasoned CIA analyst would have canceled that backing a long time ago and would have recognized that Anwar Ibrahim had too many problems to be, the right guy for the job, to be the right man for the job, the the right person that they should be backing in Malaysia. But instead, despite being, clearly over time subject to the law of diminishing returns, the National Endowment for Democracy continued backing him. They continued backing him despite his court cases, despite the, debacle of the first Pakistan Harappan government that collapsed in twenty one months, and despite the fact that, Anwar Ibrahim has made a series of missteps and blunders since becoming prime minister, some nine months ago. Any any seasoned analyst would have said it's time to cut our losses, but they didn't. And as a result, the PH government is now poised to lose significantly in upcoming state elections later this month.
So The US is now throwing good money after bad, again diminishing returns, but they're throwing good money after bad to try to ensure that their preferred party wins. The National Endowment for Democracy and affiliated organizations have been mobilizing across Malaysia, in support of PH, the Pakistan Harappan government, against the Islamic party of Malaysia pass, particularly in Taranganu, in Kedah, and in, Kelantan to try to keep the Anwar government in power. Now this isn't secret information. The United States is actively meddling in Malaysian elections, spending potentially millions of dollars, because they backed the wrong guy twenty years ago and never made a course correction. Correction.
And that's because the people who are making decisions in Washington DC are themselves disconnected from reality. They made a bad decision some twenty years ago, and that bad decision was based on a propagandized view of the world. And then when that decision doesn't work, it doesn't get the results that they want, they just keep pushing anyway because it's still in their mind a good decision. It's a good decision according to their wrong perception of the world, their wrong perception of reality. Now, I wanted to mention that I saw a video, a very strange video that has been sort of making the rounds on, Malaysian social media.
It's, an apparently Malay family, Muslim family. The women are all wearing hijab, they they appear to be religious Muslims. Right? But for some unknown reason, they made a video declaring that Rasulullah is God, and that God is Rasulullah that Muhammad and Allah are one. Okay?
Very strange. This came completely out of left field. And from as far as I can tell, most of Malaysian in Malaysia have just mocked these people as crazy. But I'm mentioning this because it's the kind of video that an indoctrinated intelligence agent or an indoctrinated intelligence analyst would imagine could incite outrage among Muslims and cause them to, you know, run amok in the streets calling for blood over such blasphemy, which is exactly what The US would like to see happen because they are, very interested in portraying the opposition party, Pass and, Paracatana Nationale, as religious extremists. So they want to be able to create scenes of Muslims losing their minds and screaming, you know, death to the apostates and so on, so that they can create extremism where it does not exist, but where they are telling everyone it is.
But the Malays are not like that. This is the problem. Malays are, supremely calm and sensible people. They are not the kind of Muslims that really only exist in the imagination of, an indoctrinated CIA analyst. When Malays see someone saying stupid things, they just laugh.
They don't start burning cars. Now I don't know obviously what the actual origin is of that video. It could be a PSYOP by the Americans, or it could actually just be a crazy family who, out of nowhere decided to publicize their craziness a week before state elections. But either way, the fact is that The US has supported a propaganda narrative in Malaysia that the opposition in Malaysia is tantamount to a Southeast Asian Taliban. And they genuinely believe that this absurd narrative is gonna gain traction in Malaysia.
And the only reason that they can possibly believe that is because they are completely submerged in their own propagandized view of the world. Because no one in Malaysia, no one who knows the Malay people can buy this narrative for a second. Malaysia is just about the furthest any population of Muslims in the world can be from radicalization, from radicalism. The Malays are among the most peaceful, the most tolerant, the most patient, and the most moderate group of Muslims that you'll ever meet. But you see again, this is because decision makers in The US have been raised on their own propaganda.
They've been raised to believe that the so called threat of radical Islam is enough to make everyone quake in their boots, and it's enough to make them, you know, forget about the economy, forget about jobs, forget about the cost of living, forget about food security, forget about even democracy and civil rights because that worked in America. So they think it'll work everywhere. But the fact is that by following this strategy, The US is losing influence all over the world and losing influence in Malaysia. And by following this strategy, their preferred candidate is losing support in Malaysia day by day no matter how much money they pump into it. The US really thinks that everyone else in the world is as foolish and is as easily manipulated as they have made the American people.
And they really think, that the rest of the world believes their propaganda. But increasingly, the rest of the world is seeing America as mentally ill, as completely cut off from reality. And increasingly, no one wants anything to do with them, and they're right.
