Husn adh-Dhann towards the Tomassiyeen
We're in a weird position with regards to the Muslim red pillars. In that in order for us to have about them, it requires us to reach one of two negative conclusions about them. We either have to think that they're preaching these ideas because they're ignorant, that's or we have to believe that they're preaching these ideas dishonestly, that they know that the ideas are false, but they're preaching them anyway because it's a business opportunity. So we have to either believe that they're ignorant or insincere. That's from Because if we don't have then it's just they actually believe these ideas and they are believing in something that is against Islam.
It's like infused with kufr. And frankly, the better of the two options is that they're being dishonest. I'm not interested in trying to put these brothers in a position of defending the ideas. I'm trying to debunk the ideas in a way that will allow them room to modify their positions. If you debunk the ideas and personalize it, then it puts the person who is advocating those ideas in a very difficult position where if they change their ideas, it looks like a defeat.
I sincerely love them for the sake of Allah, and I wish the best for them. And by the best that I wish for them, I mean I want them to change their ideas because these things are wrong. I want them to stop advocating these ideas because I personally believe that they don't believe what they're saying. At least some of them. They're too smart for that.
They know that the facts and the data and the research do not support what they're saying, and obviously, they know that Quran and Simran does not support what they're saying, and they know that their own life experience and their own family the observations of their own families do not support what they're saying. They're providing a product to the market, which is red pill theory. If brothers start to move away from acceptance of red pill theory, then that allows the brothers who are advocating it an opportunity to modify their positions. If they see that the demand is declining, then they won't advocate those ideas anymore, and it won't look like a defeat for them. And I think that for a lot of them, this is a grift.
I mean, let's be honest. All of them are making money off of this. All of them are selling something. All of them are providing some kind of a book or a course or exclusive content or whatever to make money. This is a money making enterprise.
So if it's not making money, they will drop the product. And that's my hope. And like I said, this is for me. My towards the Red Peel brothers is that they're insincere, and it's just business. In which case, they have the opportunity to change their positions, but that's gonna mean that the audience, the general audience has to understand the worthlessness of these ideas and the deviance of these ideas, as they relate to Islam and Islamic principles and values.
So to all of the Muslim red pillars out there, you're my brothers. You and I both know that you're wrong, but I want you to have the opportunity to gracefully move away from this rubbish. You know? I don't wanna I don't want you to be in a position where you have to defend it. I would I would just advise you to not identify yourself so strongly with these ideas and with someone like Rola Tomasi.
So I don't wanna put anyone in a confrontational situation where they are forced to double down and dig their heels in on an ideology that's wrong and that I want them to move away from. There's no shame in saying, know, I used to believe this, but the more I think about it, there's a lot of problems with this idea, and I'm gonna disassociate myself from these views. There's no problem with doing that. That's an honorable thing. That's a noble and admirable thing to be able to do.
And I'm willing to talk to any of the Muslim red pillars offline to have a genuine man to man discussion without an audience, without the need to perform, without putting them on the spot to have to defend the ideas, just an actual exchange between brothers to talk about the problems with this idea and how maybe they can move away from it.
