Red Pill, the Alt-Right, and Nabi Adam: Tomassiyeen and Evolutionary Psychology

Middle Nation · 5 Oct 2021 · 12:40 · YouTube

The are astute enough to know not to refer very much to evolutionary psychology because their target audience is Muslims, and they know that Muslims will automatically recoil at any mention of the theory of evolution. But Rolo Tomasi mentions it a lot and it is part and parcel of his so called Praxology. He purports to explain human nature, the nature of men, the nature of women based on a very sloppy approach to what is already a very sloppy pseudoscience, evolutionary psychology. The basic idea of evolutionary psychology is that human nature is comprised of a set of psychological mechanisms that evolved to adapt to our ancestral environment on the Pleistocene African savannahs two hundred thousand years ago. These psychological mechanisms are species wide, cross cultural, and universal.

They further believe that because human civilization has developed so rapidly, our evolutionary adaptation has not kept pace, which results in maladaptive behavior in the modern world because innately we are still built for the animalistic wilderness. We are in short mismatched for the environment of modern life. Evolutionary psychology and red pill theory claims to identify the core human nature underlying our modern pretense of civilization. Our intrinsic animalistic nature adapted through the natural selection process on the plains of Africa half a million years ago. We are what we are.

We behave how we behave. We want what we want. We do what we do. We think what we think because we evolved that way in hostile conditions for the purpose of survival. I shouldn't need to explain why this is dodgy science and I certainly shouldn't need to explain why it is unacceptable from an Islamic perspective.

But okay. Here goes. Evolutionary psychology tests their hypotheses through five main ways. Twin studies, animal studies, computer models, studies of current hunter gatherer societies, and cross cultural studies. The objective being to identify biological causes for human behavior.

Now each one of these methods has its own considerable flaws. Anyone involved in genuine hard science would be able to identify those flaws immediately. So if in some perfect experiment, you were able to discover identical affirmative results in all five of those methods, the best conclusion that you would be able to reach would still be, yeah, maybe. Could be because it is literally impossible to say anything conclusive like people do this or that because it is an evolutionary adaptation. All you can say is, it seems possible or maybe that's why.

You'll never have a definitive result to prove or disprove your hypothesis even after affirmative results in your testing. Now that's strictly from the scientific point of view. Now I should specify I'm not talking about biological adaptations, physical adaptations over time to an environment. We're talking about psychological mechanisms that supposedly have roots in biology. This is overall completely unprovable.

Now you can choose to believe it because it seems plausible and convincing to you, but it is essentially the same as believing that astrology explains human behavior in terms of its level of academic rigor. Now this is important for many reasons. Evolutionary psychology has been used to justify all manner of grotesque and offensive ideas and to explain away injustice and oppression as evolutionary imperatives. It's good to note the full title of Darwin's famous book, The Origin of Species. Everyone knows it by that title, but the complete title is informative.

The full title is the origin of species through natural selection or the preservation of favored races in the struggle for life. You can see immediately how this concept could lend itself to some incredibly heinous ideas. True believers in Darwin's theory were responsible, for instance, for literally putting an African boy in the Bronx Zoo as a specimen of a subhuman creature. This theory led to the creation of what the Nazis called racial science in which they claimed to identify whether the German or the Nordic races were the superior race of human beings and tried to prove that quote unquote race mixing was detrimental to the evolutionary process and so on and so on. Red Pillars use it to explain why women are opportunistic hypergamous leeches who seek after alpha males who have a propensity for violence and domination and why 80% of normal men will never have a chance of being with a woman.

They believe in very western, very racially biased, and culturally defined conceptions of beauty, of competency, of natural hierarchies, and the very notion of human value, all rationalized on the basis of the theory of evolution, natural selection, and evolutionary psychology. This is why Rolo Tomasi can claim to be explaining human nature itself and why his theories are universally applicable. And it is why the Tomasiin feel comfortable saying that there is no difference between a Muslim and a non Muslim woman when it comes to applying red pill theories. Because again, they claim that it explains fundamental human nature. Rolo Tomasi is teaching us about our fitra because our fitra is bestial and the product of adaptive selection.

And this is why if you ride the red pill algorithm long enough, it will lead you deep into the alt right and white supremacist content like a lunatic such as Edward Dutton. A lot of African American Red Pillars left the community for this very reason, which then in turn created a niche for Kevin Samuels. So let's talk about the fitra. The Tomasiin claimed that it is irrelevant that all of the cherry picked data used by red pillars only relates to non Muslims because, again, they say this is about human nature. It's universal, biologically determined, and religion has nothing to do with it.

Think about that for a moment. They are saying that religion does not impact behavior, perspective, priorities, and overall character. They believe that they are attuned to a deeper truth than deen. According to them, a woman is gonna woman, a man is gonna man regardless of what their religion is. That's borderline blasphemy.

Rasulullah said that every child is born on the fitra which is Islam. Every child is born a Muslim. And he explained it further by saying, you don't see a baby animal born deformed and mangled. But just as over time, an animal or a human can become mangled and warped and beaten and abused and wounded. So this can happen to your fitra as you become indoctrinated into kufr.

So in other words, our fitra is Islam. That is human nature. Belief systems outside of Islam mangle that nature. So the Thomasina claiming that the mangled and the unmangled are the same. Now never mind the fact that red pill theories are inaccurate and dishonest even with regards to non Muslims, but to claim that someone who is upon the natural fitra, the pure Islamic fitra is comparable to someone whose fitra has been deformed and warped by kufr, this is contemptible.

But you see because they subscribe to the theory of evolution, they do not subscribe to the theory of the pure Islamic fitra. They believe that we are instead sophisticated animals that adapted to our environments over the course of two hundred thousand years and they believe that our nature, human nature is just a set of psychological mechanisms developed through natural selection. Now I've talked before about the supreme importance of remembering and upholding the truth of our origin, the creation of Nabi Adam and Hawa, fully formed human beings upon the fitra of Islam, possessing knowledge, possessing language, possessing morality, possessing ethics, possessing piety from day one. If you do not understand and accept this reality, you cannot possibly delve into the study of human behavior without going off the rails. And I'm sorry, you do not get to quote the tafsir about the creation of Hawa as a consolation and source of solace and comfort for Nabi Adam in one breath and in the next breath talk about women's natural hypergamous nature.

And you don't get to quote hadith of Rasulullah about marrying virgins in one breath and in the next breath, cite a red pill theory about the pair bonding problems of divorcees. That's not why Rasulullah said to marry virgins and your theory about divorcees did not prevent him from marrying divorcees. Only one of those evidences is reliable and it's not red pill. Our source of understanding human beings and our relationships is the creator of human beings and the one between whose fingers are the hearts of every man and woman. Do not use Islam to validate secular philosophies, and do not use secular philosophies to validate Islam.

What and who we are as people was not determined through natural selection on the plains of Africa two hundred thousand years ago. We are not evolved beasts. We are the whole and complete children of the first whole and complete man and the first whole and complete woman. Nabi Adam was not a primate. He was a fully formed human being superior in his purity and perfection, not lower and more primitive than us in his faculties and nature.

We have not improved as a species since the time of Nabi Adam and trying to understand and reform ourselves by looking to the animal kingdom and the unthinking behaviors of chimps and wolves is the complete opposite of self improvement. Our nature, human nature, is the fitra of Islam, not the unconscious instincts of animals. Reviving and restoring our fitra, understanding human nature means understanding and adhering to Islam and emulating as much as possible our parents, Nabi Adam and Hawa, and all of the messengers of Allah, particularly Rasulullah most of all. This is why adherence to Islam puts your soul at peace, but adherence to Red Pill puts your soul into turbulence because it is a satanic conspiracy hatched by our enemy Iblis who wants us to think about ourselves the way he thinks about us, that we are a degraded creation, not an honorable one. And this satanic conspiracy has been spread by some of the most foul, bigoted, Muslim hating segments of the society by the alt right, the far right, the neo Nazis, people who hate to see the Muslim population multiply and spread, who want to see discord and division between the sons and daughters of Nabi Adam and Hawa, and who want to see Muslim women dishonored and defamed.

And they want to see us become like them. And if you're on the red pill, you're well on your way.
