EXPOSING US IMPUNITY: Shahid Bolsen on Gaza, UN, and American Genocide
Here's the founder of the initiative, Shahid King Balsan. Welcome. How are you, brother?
How are you? Everyone for being here and sister for spending hours and hours every day trying to educate people and inform people and and let people become aware of what's actually happening and get news from the ground. And thank you, Angezac Alachir, for everyone in Gaza who is sharing their experience, their horrific experience, leaving no one in the world with an excuse for not knowing what's happening. This is the this is the the first time that I'm aware of in history when a genocide is playing out in front of the eyes of everyone, where no one can have any any doubt or any question and and they have nowhere to they they have no way to make an excuse of ignorance of what's happening. And that's thanks to to all of you and thanks to people like sister Haya for, forcing everyone to confront this reality.
I was listening now. I've been listening for a short time and listening to the the horrific stories, of what the people of Gaza are enduring. What I see is you know when you know when water is going down a drain, the the the the closer it gets to the bottom of the swirl, when it's swirling on its way down, it moves the fastest and the the the movement is the most intense at the bottom just before it's gone. And I believe that what we're seeing because what's happening in Gaza is an American genocide. There's no question about that.
This is an and and and to say an American genocide, we have to say it's another American genocide. It's not their first, but it will be the last. This is a country, The United States, that was began by genocide, and this genocide will be the end of it, the end of it as a world power, the end of it as an international power. It's coming to an end in Gaza. America has been based upon genocidal violence.
It's been based upon racism. It's been based upon colonization. It's been based upon savagery and brutality. For over four hundred years, They've been terrorizing the earth. First, on their on the on the land that they themselves occupied, and then spread out around the world through colonization and imperialism.
They've been terrorizing the planet for centuries, literally for centuries. And they are now, as we see in in in in Gaza, as I say, it's happening before our eyes. It's happening without any chance for someone to have an excuse of ignorance, to have any doubt about what's happening. Previously, America's violence, they've been able to cover it up. They've been able to gloss over it.
They've been able to whitewash it. They've been able to deny it. And now we're seeing them double down on their support for the Zionist occupation, which is nothing but another form of western colonization in the global South, in the Muslim world, in the Arab world, is just another colonization and has become, at least since the nineteen fifties, nineteen sixties, a very specific American colonization. So they are committing in front of everyone what they have been committing for hundreds of years, literally hundreds of years, with hundreds of millions of dead. The the the the blood of hundreds, literally hundreds of millions of people, are their victims over the course of the centuries.
But as I say, previously, they were able to deny it. They were able to gloss over it. They were able to to cover it up. They will they were able to pretend to that that they weren't responsible for it. They were able to pretend that it didn't that it never happened.
But now, the the reality of American brutality is on show for the whole world to see, and we see them doubling down on it. This is the last, breath, the, death rattle of the most vicious, the most savage, the most brutal empire that the world has ever seen, and it's dying in Gaza. The, article six campaign is a part of this entire process for the dismantling of American hegemony, American power. Because the whole world I mean, sister Haya was talking about some people say they don't believe in the international community and what have you. But the global consensus has always been on the side of the Palestinians.
The global consensus has always been on their side. The global consensus has always been, opposed to American policy, to American foreign policy. Always. They have they have a vote every year, particularly on the on the situation of Palestine. Every year, they have a vote, and the consensus is always against The United States and against so called Israel.
But the global the global consensus has always been overruled. If the global consensus was not against was not opposed to The United States, then it wouldn't even matter to the United States to control the United Nations because everybody would be on their side. But they know that that what they pursue and what what policies they, implement around the world, they know that that's against everyone's interest but theirs. So they have to control the United Nations and have the United Nations under their thumb and have all the countries of the world on a leash so that no one can act. By them being on the Security Council and them having the veto power and them having the funding power, which is nothing but bribery and hush money.
So if we can get The United States expelled from the United Nations as they should have been decades ago, If we can get them to be expelled from the United Nations, then that will unleash the global consensus and they will finally have some power. And they can not only stop the incessant persistent violations of The United States, but they can actually start holding The United States accountable. And then as I say, we'll see an end to this centuries old empire of savagery and brutality.
Brother Shahid. Very well said. There we have a comment, if you don't mind. They're saying that the United Nations should be dismantled immediately. What do you Why?
What do you think?
Why should the United Nations be dismantled immediately? That would be a dream scenario for The United States. Why should the United Nations be dismantled? The the the the the only reason, as I said before, the only reason that the United States wants to control the United Nations is because the United Nations has power, has the potential of power, and it and it organizes the entire global community to where the global community can can reach a consensus on issues of human rights and justice and so forth. If if if you were to dismantle the United Nations, we wouldn't even have that apparatus.
We wouldn't have UNRWA. We wouldn't have the ICJ. We wouldn't have there are many good programs. There are many good institutions associated with the United Nations that The United States despises, that The United States, despises so much that they wanna keep them under their thumb so that they can never be held accountable by those institutions. The the solution is not to dismantle the United Nations.
The the solution is to expel the oppressor of the United Nations from the United Nations, and that's America.
Absolutely. Nothing is wrong with the framework of the United Nations. The problem is we need to move we need to remove that corruption, which is the the the source of corruption corruption and manipulation, which is The United States, guys.
Well, again, I mean, this is this is a misdiagnosis of the problem. Your yeah. This is this is the idea that the United Nations is the problem, and the United Nations isn't the problem at all. The United Nations is a solution. It provides solutions.
The whole problem, as you said, is that it has been restrained. It's been overruled. It's been dominated by The United States. The the the the charter of the United Nations is a very good charter. We all agree with what the charter says, and and all we want is for the charter to be, acted upon.
We want the charter to be implemented. The the promise of the UN charter isn't the problem. The problem is the promise breaker. The problem isn't the contract that the, that all of the members of the United Nations signed. The problem is the one who's breaking the contract, and that's The United States.
Absolutely. And some people are saying, well, then just remove the veto power.
Well, first of all, let's not talk about hypothetical solutions that don't exist in reality. Let's if you if you wanna be realistic, if you take the problem seriously, then you have to deal with, what actually exists in the real world. And what actually exists in the real world is article six, which gives you the ability to expel The United States from the United Nations, which therefore already solves your veto problem, and that's there in the charter. You don't have to come up with something. There's nothing in the system that allows you to remove the veto power.
That that requires a complete restructuring of the way the United Nations operates. Now you're you're making your problem even harder now. You're making it even less likely that you can achieve something. You already have it on paper that you can expel a member who is guilty of persistent violations of the principles of the UN Charter, and there's we're you know, we're going on the on the Middle Nation Telegram group. We have a book discussion, and we're going through a book called Killing Hope, which I read many, many years ago, and we're going through it now.
And all it is is a list and a a case study of all of the military interventions and covert operations by The United States. This is in and of itself could be entered into as evidence to the United Nations of persistent violations. So you already have the legal procedure. Don't come up with something new now and pretend like you're gonna restructure the whole organization as if that's a solution when you already have a solution right before you, right in front of you. The solution is right there on paper.
All you have to do is activate the law. You don't have to come up with a new law. You don't have to restructure the organization, the the restructure the institution, which would require you to get not only all of the security council members to agree to it, you'd have to get all of the general assembly to agree to it. And everybody wants the veto power. Whenever they've talked about trying to reform veto power, they're not talking about removing the veto power.
They're talking about expanding it to other countries. So don't don't make a more, more of a problem for yourself by pretending that you're gonna come up with some other solution and just remove the veto power. No. You already have it on paper. You already have it in the contract.
You already have it in the charter. It's already the law that you can just activate that's what what already exists. Don't make your problem more difficult than it has to be.
Absolutely. If there are solutions, direct solutions, focused solutions, let's take that and and, you know, take it forward because our people in Gaza are extremely they're it's it's a complete desperation. It is a complete catastrophe on so many levels. And in sha'Allah, everything will go. I mean, Allah there's a reason for everything that happens.
So, insha'Allah, we have faith in and inshallah, this will all end soon.
Wallahi, they're they're they're the I'm sorry to cut you off, sister, but Wallahi, the people of Gaza are the heroes of the heroes of humanity. They're the heroes of mankind. They're the heroes of the world. Because as I said, I think that they are going to be the ones who are administering the end of the most evil, the most savage, the most brutal empire that the world has ever seen. And we're talking about an empire.
As as an empire, you can say it's only been since around the '9 since around the end of World War two, but it expanded throughout, from from one coast of The United States to the other coast of The United States and then down south. And they've been, as I say, for they they it began in in, what, 1619. So we're talking about four hundred years of of violence and colonization that The United States has been guilty of, and it's been a particularly savage form of violence and brutality. They're not normal. The way they behave is not normal.
The the the level of violence, the level of inhumanity, the level of psychopathy with which that country has operated in the world and operated within their own borders and operates against their own people, in fact, is unheard of in human history, in my opinion. And the it it's it's cold comfort, I know. But what the people of Gaza are suffering and and the intensity of the inhuman violence that they're suffering. As I said, this is like when the water is going down the drain and the and the the closer it gets to the bottom, the faster it goes and the more intense it is. This is the American empire going down the drain and is getting very intense and it's getting very violent in the way it's behaving even more so than ever before and as I said even more openly than ever before.
But they're the heroes of the world and they're the heroes of humanity because they will oversee the end of that empire, inshallah.
Brother, inshallah. We will be paneled together, inshallah, talking about the article six campaign, inshallah.
Thank you so much. And, again, I just wanna remind everyone to please go to the link in sister Haya's bio and sign the petition. It really is a solution to to ending an empire, a force that has been terrorizing the entire planet and is and is coming to a head in Gaza. But the the invocation of article six is a very powerful solution that will put America in a more isolated and a more vulnerable position, that will make it, susceptible and, eligible for actual accountability to be imposed upon it by the global consensus, by the global community. So, thanks again, and, Allah be with you all.
