What "close to Islam" means today

You know, it just occurred to me. And this is this is a sign of how, astray and how confused and how misguided the West has become. That it used to be the case that if we found someone, who we thought was close to Islam and was worthwhile for us to try to make the dua to them to to bring them to Islam, they met a whole list of criteria of beliefs, you know, like they believe that Allah is one, they believe in Allah, they believe Allah is one, they don't believe that Jesus is the son of God or God or so on and so on and so on. Many things, you know, that we'd be like, oh wow, his beliefs are very closely aligned with Islam, maybe he can become a Muslim. Now, we look at someone from the West, and if they just know that women don't have penises, then we're like, wow.

He's really close to Islam. We should talk to him.
